Kiwi-pear green smoothie

I'm really getting into the habit of a green smoothie every morning - the Vitamix is now indispensible! Sometimes I'm well behaved and make a smoothie with lots of vegetables, other times I ensure lots of immune-boosting ingredients. And sometimes I just want something simple! Hence the kiwi-pear green smoothie was born.


Kiwi-pear green smoothie

Serves: 1

Ingredients

1 small pear, cored and halved
1 ripe kiwi fruit, peeled
1 1/4 cups baby spinach, washed thoroughly
4 fl oz chilled water
4 ice cubes

Method

Place all ingredients in the Vitamix in the order listed. Turn Vitamix on lowest speed (1), quickly rev up to speed 10, then flip the switch for high speed. Blend 30-40 seconds. Enjoy!
